Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia held a meeting with the Director General of Saudia Airways

On 18 May 2026, the Ambassador of Georgia to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Nikoloz Revazishvili, held a meeting with the Director General of Saudia Airways, Ibrahim Al-Omar.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of launching direct Saudia flights to Georgia.

The discussion also focused on increasing the frequency of Flyadeal flights to Georgia and the gradual transition from seasonal operations to regular scheduled flights. Flyadeal is a subsidiary airline of Saudia Group.

The parties further discussed opportunities for cooperation with Saudia Cargo with the aim of increasing trade and commercial ties between the two countries.
